I went to Tijuana Flats recently with my girlfriend, and I compulsively took out my two month old iPhone 5 as we shared some chips and queso. Despite having an Otterbox Defender cover protecting 98% of my phone, a stray drop of queso fatefully dropped directly into my earpiece speaker. Afterwards, the crippled sound was 25% of what it should have been.

The next day, I took it into iFixYouri and they were able to disassemble the phone, clean the inside of the affected area, and diagnose the solution for free in about 20 mins. After they ordered the new speaker and replaced it in about 30 mins on a subsequent visit, the sound has been restored back to its original quality. The cost was $50.

Compared to the cost of a new phone ($650 since mine is not insured and I am ineligible for the new activation promotion) and for the excellent workmanship/customer service, it was a good deal.

Of course, this business--which seems to be made up of mostly current and former UCF students--specializes in replacing cracked iPhones and iPads screens, but I have taken a Blackberry and an previous iPhone in to them before for other repair issues and they are always helpful and can easily and confidently fix your gadget.

I highly recommend checking them out when the inevitable queso drop pinpoints your device's chink in its armor.

iFixYouri has fixed my phone twice now. Cracked screen and broken volume key. Very happy with results. I dropped it off before work and picked it up after work. Service was excellent.

Walked in with a broken iPhone 5c and was told there were a couple of other devices ahead of mine in line to be repaired. I was told the repair would take about an hour. 39 minutes later I was walking out with a perfectly repaired iPhone. Accurate price quote, super fast service. Five Stars! Highly recommended.
